Full of rubbed sage and a subtle kick from chipotle peppers, it pairs perfectly with a touch of sweet maple syrup. Serve with eggs, or make yourself a delicious breakfast sandwich. This recipe works well with ground pork or meat alternative instead of turkey if you prefer.
Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey, lean (85-93%)*

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup

2 tablespoons Oaktown Spice Shop Breakfast Sausage Seasoning

½ teaspoon flake salt
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, parsley, maple syrup, Breakfast Sausage Seasoning, and salt, mixing well.
Divide the mixture into 8, using your hands to form 8 patties, approximately ½ inch thick.
- Add the olive oil to a non-stick or well seasoned cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to the pan, working in batches so as to not overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked.
- Serve and enjoy.
